Dr Bike at Halton Fest 2026 with Bicycle Revival
Get ready for a fantastic weekend of cycling, family fun and community spirit as Bicycle Revival Halton joins forces with Halton Borough Council and Cycling UK to bring Dr Bike to Halton Fest 2026.
Taking place at Runcorn Hill Park on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th June, from 11am to 5pm, we'll be offering free bike safety checks, simple repairs, expert advice and fun cycling activities for all ages.
Whether your bike needs a little TLC, you're looking for maintenance tips, or you've got a young rider eager to build their confidence, our friendly team will be on hand throughout the weekend to help.
Free Bike Checks & Simple Repairs
Bring your bike along and let our experienced volunteers give it a once-over. We'll carry out a free safety check, make minor adjustments where possible, and help identify any issues that may need further attention.
We'll be helping with:
-
Free bike safety checks
-
Brake and gear adjustments
-
Tyre and wheel inspections
-
Simple repairs
-
Maintenance advice
-
Cycling support and guidance
No booking required – just turn up and see us.
Free Kids Bike Skills Course
Young riders can take on our FREE Kids Bike Skills Course, featuring a fun mini coned course designed to help children develop confidence, control and bike handling skills in a safe and supportive environment.
But this isn't just for the kids.
We actively encourage parents, grandparents and carers to get involved too. Our team will share simple coaching tips, confidence-building techniques and fun activities that families can continue long after Halton Fest has finished.
By learning together, you'll gain the skills and knowledge to help your child become a safer, more confident cyclist, while enjoying quality time on two wheels as a family.
Children must remain accompanied by a parent or responsible adult throughout the activities, as the course is designed to be a shared family learning experience rather than a drop-off activity.
It's a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills and discover how enjoyable cycling can be for the whole family.
All Bikes Welcome
Road bikes, mountain bikes, hybrids, BMXs, commuters and family bikes – whatever you ride, you're welcome at our stand.
Our mission is simple: to help more people enjoy cycling, stay active and ride with confidence.
Come and Visit Us
Halton Fest is all about celebrating the people, organisations and communities that make Halton such a great place to live, and we're proud to be part of it.
So bring your bike, bring the family and come and say hello. Whether you need a quick adjustment, some cycling advice, or just fancy finding out more about Bicycle Revival Halton, we'd love to meet you.
